Personnel Loans

It seems that some banks kant spel proply

If you're in the army and you're looking for a loan, the Internet won't be much help: type the phrase "personnel loans" into a search engine and you'll get hundreds of results from lenders who think that you can't spell "personal". However, loans are available for armed forces personnel.

If you need money and you're in the armed forces, you'll soon discover that bad spelling is your enemy: because lenders assume that most internet users can't spell, when you search for "armed forces personnel loans" you'll get page after page of personal loans. However, while the phrase "personnel loans" is widely abused by sites, there are lenders who will be happy to consider you.
Few lenders will offer an armed forces personnel loan, but you may be able to get a loan from a lender who specialises in higher risk lending such as bad credit personal loans. Provided you're stationed in the UK you'll generally find that getting a loan shouldn't be a big problem, although because you're a slightly higher risk than a "normal" employee you'll often discover that APRs are slightly higher than for more mainstream borrowers.
It might also be worth speaking to someone within the armed forces: many firms offer special deals to armed forces personnel, and you may be able to get a better deal via the Army, Navy or RAF than by dealing directly with lenders.
